Through his beautiful paintings of birds and animals, Wayne Timm (1922 – 2017) brought the outdoors indoors. He was born in Albany, New York and used his paintings as a starting point, to explain how all things on planet Earth are interrelated and interdependent.
During his 75 year career as an artist-scientist, he taught young and old about the environment, and about the ecosystems upon which all life depends. Best of all, he inspired many people to go outside and see Nature for themselves.
